Does the life exist outside of Champagne?

Does the life exist outside of Champagne? Well, not really. My all-time favourite non-Champagne sparkling is Ferrari. Metodo Classico bubbly that has proven it's high class numerous times.

Founded in 1902 in Trento, Italy🇮🇹 @ferraritrento has been producing top sparklings highly regarded by many critics and wine enthusiasts.

I was lucky to pop this 35 years old spumante Classico Italiano tonight.

Ferrari Brut de Brut Perle 1983

No mousse, but bubbles are still present.
Golden amber color. Rich aromas of nuts, wet wood, tar, candied fruits. Oxidative notes, dill showing its impressive age. Absolutely fantastic silky creamy texture. No legs/tears, it slides evenly and smoothly down the glass. High acidity. For someone it might seem over the hill, but for me it's on the shining edge of its peak maturity!

Disgorged in 1988 after spending 4+ years in the bottle on its own lees. Chardonnay grapes come from the top of the hill own vineyards. Hard to believe it, but the label clearly states there is no dosage!!! You can tell it is very low on sugar, but still puzzled how it survived so long!? Great experience!!
