A little wander into my cellar and this bottle seemed to jump out at me. I haven't had it for a few years and well, do I need another reason!?
Epic nose with an healthy dollop of brioche and butter, a touch of exotic fruit. Basically a toasty, saline bomb of a front end. Way more than I remember on my last visit.
I love that the butteryness chips into the front end and meshes delightfully with some pineapple on the mid to late.
Lovely texture and weight and amazingly integrated salinity.
Sumptuous, engaging, intense and such incredible dark fruit on the mid.
This is a stunner and can be very much enjoyed right now if you fancy it!
